Jesus limiting himself

Jesus lived with a definite goal. Based on his goal, Jesus didn’t travel outside of Israel or Palestine. He lived with Jews all his life. Jesus remained faithful to the Jews in his own way.

Within a limited place, Jesus traveled a lot carried out the desire of his Father. When you realize that Jesus and his Father is one, Jesus was carrying out his own desire that he had while he was in his glory.

Within the limited place, Jesus started to find people who would be his students. They were not highly educated people. They were not religious elites. They were not great theologians. But Jesus saw their potential, based on his abundances.

Jesus talked with them, knew them, loved them, and empowered them.

They were able to do what Jesus was doing. They were able to do greater things that they had never imagined.

All happened because Jesus agreed with his Father and decided to work with them. Within the limited place, Jesus found these wonderful people. Jesus went out and found them. Jesus didn’t travel to china or Europe to look for his students. Jesus went to unlikely places and found his best students who would do everything for him. Jesus preached faithfully with them until the end of his earthly life.   What a wonderful way to show the power of divine love.

Peter, for example, loved to follow Jesus. He loved Jesus. He wanted to follow even to his death, which he failed when he was not given the Spirit of the resurrected Jesus.

So, Jesus didn’t try to reach out every people and nations during his public ministry. Instead, Jesus depended on his precious students whom he found in his own backyard. Jesus found them and taught them to be great people to whom all things are possible.

Through his humble life, Jesus cleansed the massive sins of the world. Through his death and resurrection, Jesus caused the universal salvation of human races.

It is the wisdom of God.
